INGREDIENTS
7 ounces Chicken Breast
1 cup Green Beans
2 teaspoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Garlic Clove
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the chicken breast dry and season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add the extra virgin olive oil.
Place the chicken breast in the pan and sear for about 5-6 minutes on each side, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
While the chicken is cooking, trim the ends off the green beans and rinse them well.
Once the chicken is nearly done, add the green beans and minced garlic to the pan. Toss them around for about 3-4 minutes until the green beans are bright green and slightly tender, absorbing the garlic and olive oil.
Remove the chicken and green beans from the pan. Let the chicken rest for a couple of minutes before slicing.
Plate the sliced chicken with the green beans on the side. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed, and serve immediately.
