PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Trim the woody ends off the asparagus spears and place them on one side of the prepared baking sheet.
Place the salmon fillet on the other side of the baking sheet.
In a small ramekin, whisk together the olive oil, ground turmeric, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper.
Brush the turmeric spice mixture evenly over the top and sides of the salmon fillet, then lightly toss the asparagus in any remaining oil on the sheet.
