Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a small baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, egg, almond flour, 1 tablespoon of BBQ sauce, onion, bell pepper, and all the spices.
Gently mix the ingredients with your hands until just combined, taking care not to overwork the meat which can make it tough.
Shape the turkey mixture into a compact rectangular loaf and place it onto the prepared baking sheet.
Lay the bacon slices across the top of the loaf, tucking the ends slightly underneath the meat to secure them.
Bake for 25 minutes, then remove the tray and brush the remaining 1 tablespoon of BBQ sauce over the top of the bacon.
Return the loaf to the oven for another 10 to 15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the bacon is crispy.
Let the meatloaf rest for 5 minutes before slicing to ensure the juices redistribute for a moist finish.
