PREPARATION
Cut the mozzarella sticks into halves or thirds to make smaller pieces.
In a small bowl, whisk the egg. In a separate shallow dish, combine the almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, and half of the salt and pepper.
Dip each mozzarella stick piece into the egg wash, then dredge in the almond flour mixture until fully coated.
Place the coated cheese sticks in an air fryer at 400°F for 5-6 minutes until the coating is golden and crispy.
While the cheese sticks cook, season the ground beef with the remaining salt and pepper and form into a single patty.
Heat avocado oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the patty for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through.
