Tender Ginger-Garlic Steak and Shrimp
Sautéed sirloin and succulent shrimp tossed in a fragrant ginger-garlic glaze with crisp-tender broccoli for a vibrant, high-protein surf and turf.
INGREDIENTS
3 oz Sirloin steak
4 oz Shrimp
1.5 cups Broccoli florets
1 tbsp Coconut aminos
1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
1 tsp Olive oil
1 tsp Fresh ginger
2 cloves Garlic
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
PREPARATION
Cut the sirloin steak into 1-inch cubes and pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Season the steak cubes and shrimp with sea salt and black pepper.
Sear the steak cubes for 2 minutes until browned on all sides, then add the shrimp and cook for another 2 minutes until pink and opaque.
Remove the steak and shrimp from the pan and set aside on a plate.
Add the broccoli florets to the same pan with a tablespoon of water, cover with a lid, and steam for 3 minutes until bright green.
Stir in the minced ginger, garlic, and toasted sesame oil, sautéing for 1 minute until aromatic.
Return the steak and shrimp to the pan, pour in the coconut aminos, and toss for 1 minute to glaze everything evenly before serving.
