Golden Honey-Mustard Salmon with Roasted Brussels
Oven-roasted salmon glazed in a sweet and tangy honey-mustard sauce, served alongside crispy charred Brussels sprouts for a satisfying crunch.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Salmon fillet
1.5 cup Brussels sprouts
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 tsp Honey
1 tsp Olive oil
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
0.25 tsp Garlic powder
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Trim the ends off the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half lengthwise.
Toss the sprouts directly on the baking sheet with olive oil, half of the sea salt, and half of the black pepper.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, and garlic powder until a smooth glaze forms.
Place the salmon fillet on the baking sheet next to the sprouts, then season the fish with the remaining salt and pepper.
Brush the honey-mustard glaze generously over the top and sides of the salmon fillet.
Roast in the center of the oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork and the sprouts are tender with caramelized edges.
Serve immediately while the glaze is warm and the vegetables are crisp.
