PREPARATION
Pre-heat your grill or cast-iron grill pan over medium-high heat until it is smoking slightly.
In a small bowl, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, and chopped dill.
Pat the salmon fillet dry with a paper towel and brush both the salmon and the asparagus spears generously with the lemon-herb mixture.
