1 medium Yellow onion
1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar

10 whole Asparagus spears
0.25 tsp Garlic powder
PREPARATION
Slice the yellow onion into thin half-moons.
Heat 0.5 tbsp of olive oil in a skillet over medium-low heat, add the onions, and cook until soft and golden, about 15 minutes.
Stir the balsamic vinegar into the onions and cook for another 2 minutes until jammy, then remove from heat.
Rub the sirloin steak with the remaining 0.5 tbsp olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Preheat a grill or cast-iron pan to medium-high and sear the steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
Toss the asparagus spears into the pan or onto the grill during the last 5 minutes of cooking until tender-crisp.
