Tender Sesame Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry
Sautéed lean beef strips and crisp broccoli florets tossed in a savory ginger-garlic sauce for a vibrant, protein-packed meal.
INGREDIENTS
4 oz Grass-fed sirloin beef strips
2 cup Broccoli florets
0.25 tsp Toasted sesame oil
2 tbsp Coconut aminos
1 tsp Fresh grated ginger
2 clove Garlic cloves, minced
0.5 tsp Sesame seeds
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tbsp Water
PREPARATION
Pat the beef strips dry with a paper towel and season evenly with the sea salt and black pepper.
Heat a large stainless steel skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add the toasted sesame oil.
Once the oil is shimmering, add the beef strips in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes until browned on all sides, then remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and 1 tablespoon of water, then immediately cover with a lid to steam for 2 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.
Remove the lid and stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for 30-45 seconds until highly fragrant.
Return the cooked beef and any accumulated juices to the skillet.
Pour the coconut aminos over the beef and broccoli, tossing everything together for 1 minute until the sauce slightly thickens and glazes the ingredients.
Garnish with sesame seeds and serve immediately while hot.
