7 oz Ahi tuna
0.5 cup Sushi rice
1 tbsp Rice vinegar
1 sheet Nori
0.25 whole Avocado
0.5 cup Cucumber

1 tbsp Tamari
0.25 tsp Wasabi paste
1 tsp Sesame seeds
1 whole Scallion
PREPARATION
Rinse and cook sushi rice according to package instructions, then fold in rice vinegar and let cool to room temperature.
Slice the sashimi-grade ahi tuna and cucumber into long, thin strips and thinly slice the avocado.
Place a nori sheet on a bamboo rolling mat and spread the seasoned rice evenly over the bottom two-thirds of the sheet.
Layer the tuna, cucumber, avocado, and grated ginger across the center of the rice.
Carefully roll the nori from the bottom, using the mat to keep it tight, and seal the edge with a drop of water.
Slice the roll into eight pieces using a sharp, wet knife and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced scallions.
