Tender Sesame-Ginger Beef Stir-Fry
Thinly sliced beef strips seared with aromatic ginger and garlic, tossed with crisp-tender vegetables in a savory, toasted sesame glaze.
INGREDIENTS
4 oz Lean beef sirloin strips
1 oz Dry soba noodles
1 cup Broccoli florets
0.5 cup Red bell pepper
0.5 tsp Toasted sesame oil
1 tbsp Tamari
1 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
0.5 tsp Sesame seeds
PREPARATION
Cook the dry soba noodles in boiling water according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
Season the beef sirloin strips evenly with sea salt and black pepper.
Heat the toasted sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Add the beef to the skillet and sear until browned on all sides, approximately 3-4 minutes, then remove the beef and set it aside on a plate.
In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets, sliced red bell pepper, minced fresh ginger, and minced garlic.
Sauté the vegetables for 4-5 minutes until they are crisp-tender and the aromatics are fragrant.
Return the cooked beef and its juices to the skillet, then add the drained soba noodles and tamari.
Toss all ingredients together for 1-2 minutes until the noodles are well-coated in the sauce and everything is heated through.
Garnish the stir-fry with sesame seeds and serve immediately.
