Tender Sesame Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry
Sautéed lean beef strips and crisp broccoli florets tossed in a savory ginger-sesame glaze for a vibrant and satisfying meal.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Flank steak
1.5 cup Broccoli florets
1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
1 tbsp Tamari
1 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
0.25 tsp Red pepper flakes
1 tsp Sesame seeds
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tbsp Water
PREPARATION
Thinly slice the flank steak against the grain into bite-sized strips.
Whisk together tamari, sesame oil, grated ginger, minced garlic, and water in a small bowl to create the glaze.
Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add the beef strips, seasoning them with sea salt and black pepper.
Sear the beef for 2-3 minutes until browned on the outside, then remove from the pan and set aside on a plate.
Add the broccoli florets and a splash of water to the same pan, covering with a lid for 2 minutes to steam until tender-crisp.
Return the beef and any accumulated juices to the pan and pour the prepared sesame sauce over the mixture.
Toss everything together for 1 minute until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the beef and broccoli evenly.
Garnish the stir-fry with sesame seeds and red pepper flakes before serving immediately.
