Mix the ingredients thoroughly until a uniform, sticky paste forms.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking sheet and use a spatula to flatten it into a rectangle approximately 1/4 inch thick.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the center is firm to the touch.
Remove from the oven, brush the top lightly with olive oil, and sprinkle the remaining tablespoon of parmesan cheese over the surface.
Switch the oven to the broiler setting and return the tray to the oven for 2 to 3 minutes until the top is bubbly and crispy.
Allow to cool for 5 minutes before slicing into even strips and serving with warmed tomato puree for dipping.
