Tender Sesame Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry
Sautéed flank steak and broccoli florets are tossed in a fragrant ginger-garlic sauce for a clean and protein-packed meal.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Flank steak
2 cup Broccoli florets
1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
1 tbsp Coconut aminos
1 tsp Grated fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
0.5 tsp Sesame seeds
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tbsp Water
PREPARATION
Thinly slice the flank steak against the grain into bite-sized strips.
Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add the toasted sesame oil.
Add the beef to the hot pan, seasoning with sea salt and black pepper, and sear until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
Remove the beef from the pan and set aside; add the broccoli florets and water to the same pan.
Cover the pan for 2 minutes to steam the broccoli until it is bright green and tender-crisp.
Remove the lid, add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Return the beef to the pan and pour in the coconut aminos, tossing everything together for 1 minute to glaze the ingredients.
Garnish with sesame seeds before serving hot.
