Seared Salmon with Garlic Green Beans and Brown Rice
Pan-seared wild salmon served with garlic-sautéed green beans and fluffy brown rice, finished with a squeeze of lemon and a buttery-smooth texture.
INGREDIENTS
7 oz Wild Atlantic Salmon
1/2 cup cooked Brown Rice
1 cup fresh Green Beans
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 clove Garlic, minced
PREPARATION
Prepare the brown rice according to package instructions and set aside.
Pat the salmon fillet dry with a paper towel and season lightly with sea salt and black pepper.
Heat half of the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the salmon skin-side down in the pan and sear for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crisp.
Flip the salmon carefully and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
While the salmon cooks, heat the remaining oil in a separate skillet over medium heat and add the minced garlic.
Add the green beans to the garlic skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp and vibrant green.
Plate the salmon over the fluffy brown rice and serve alongside the garlic green beans with an optional squeeze of fresh lemon.
