Tender Sesame-Ginger Beef Stir-Fry
Sautéed flank steak and crisp vegetables tossed in a savory sesame-ginger glaze for a vibrant, nutrient-dense meal.
INGREDIENTS
6.5 oz Flank steak
1.5 cup Broccoli florets
0.5 cup Red bell pepper
1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
1 tbsp Tamari
1 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
0.5 tbsp Arrowroot powder
2 tbsp Water
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Sesame seeds
PREPARATION
Thinly slice the flank steak against the grain into bite-sized strips and season with sea salt and black pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the tamari, minced fresh ginger, minced garlic, arrowroot powder, and water to create the stir-fry sauce.
Heat the toasted sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Add the beef strips to the skillet in a single layer and sear for 2 minutes until browned, then remove the beef and set aside.
Add the broccoli florets and sliced red bell pepper to the same skillet, adding a splash of water if needed to steam-fry for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
Return the beef to the skillet and pour the prepared sauce over the mixture.
Toss everything together for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and vegetables beautifully.
Transfer to a plate and garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
