INGREDIENTS
7 oz Salmon fillet
1.5 cup Asparagus spears
1 tsp Maple syrup
0.5 tbsp Olive oil
0.5 tsp Smoked paprika
0.25 tsp Garlic powder
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Lemon juice
PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Trim the woody ends off the asparagus and place them on one side of the baking sheet.
Drizzle the asparagus with 0.25 tbsp of olive oil and a portion of the sea salt and black pepper.
Place the salmon fillet on the other side of the baking sheet.
In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining olive oil, maple syrup, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and the rest of the salt and pepper.
Brush the maple glaze generously over the top of the salmon fillet.
Roast for 12-15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is crisp-tender.
Squeeze the fresh lemon juice over the salmon and asparagus just before serving.
