Lemon Herb Seared Salmon with Steamed Asparagus
Pan-seared salmon fillet seasoned with fresh dill and lemon, served alongside tender steamed asparagus for a light finish with a bright, zesty aroma.
INGREDIENTS
7 oz Salmon Fillet
150g Fresh Asparagus
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tbsp Fresh Dill, chopped
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, and half of the fresh dill.
Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the salmon in the skillet, skin-side down, and sear for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
Flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
While the salmon cooks, place the asparagus in a steamer basket over boiling water and steam for 4-6 minutes until tender-crisp.
Plate the salmon and asparagus, then drizzle both with fresh lemon juice and garnish with the remaining dill.
