Place the patty in the skillet and sear for 5-6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the outside is golden brown.
While the burger cooks, wash and dry the butter lettuce leaves to use as your bun replacement.
Slice the avocado, red onion, and tomato into thin rounds.
Place the cooked turkey burger onto the lettuce leaves and top with the avocado, onion, and tomato before wrapping tightly and serving.
