Tender Garlic-Herb Roasted Beef
Lean beef roasted with fragrant rosemary and garlic, served alongside vibrant steamed broccoli and tender carrots for a satisfying, clean meal.
INGREDIENTS
5.25 oz Beef top sirloin
1 tsp Olive oil
2 cloves Garlic
0.5 tsp Dried rosemary
0.5 tsp Dried thyme
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 cup Broccoli florets
0.5 cup Sliced carrots
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a small roasting pan.
Finely mince the garlic cloves and place them in a small mixing bowl.
Whisk the olive oil, rosemary, thyme, sea salt, and black pepper into the garlic until a thick paste forms.
Pat the beef top sirloin dry with a paper towel and rub the herb paste evenly over all sides of the meat.
Place the beef in the roasting pan and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
While the beef is roasting, place the broccoli florets and sliced carrots into a steamer basket over boiling water.
Steam the vegetables for 5-7 minutes until they are tender-crisp and bright in color.
Remove the beef from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
Plate the sliced beef alongside the steamed vegetables and serve immediately.
