Tender Sesame Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry
Sautéed flank steak and crisp broccoli florets are tossed in a savory ginger-garlic glaze to create a vibrant and nourishing meal.
INGREDIENTS
7 oz Flank steak
2 cup Broccoli florets
1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
2 tbsp Coconut aminos
1 tsp Fresh ginger
2 cloves Garlic
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Toasted sesame seeds
PREPARATION
Slice the flank steak against the grain into very thin strips and season evenly with sea salt and black pepper.
Heat the toasted sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until it begins to shimmer.
Add the beef strips in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes until browned and caramelized, then remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add the minced garlic and grated fresh ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until the aromatics are fragrant.
Toss in the broccoli florets and pour in the coconut aminos, then cover the pan for 2 minutes to allow the broccoli to lightly steam.
Return the cooked beef to the pan and stir-fry everything together for 1 minute until the sauce coats the ingredients and the broccoli is tender-crisp.
Transfer the stir-fry to a serving plate and garnish with toasted sesame seeds before serving immediately.
