Tender Smoky BBQ Glazed Ribs
Slow-roasted pork ribs coated in a rich, smoky homemade glaze, served with crisp steamed green beans for a satisfying and savory meal.
INGREDIENTS
6.25 oz Pork baby back ribs
0.5 tsp Smoked paprika
0.5 tsp Garlic powder
0.5 tsp Onion powder
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tbsp Tomato paste
1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
1 tsp Maple syrup
0.25 tsp Liquid smoke
1 cup Green beans
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, and black pepper to create a dry rub.
Pat the pork ribs dry with a paper towel and apply the dry rub evenly to both sides of the meat.
Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake for 2 hours until the meat is tender and pulling away from the bone.
While the ribs bake, whisk together the tomato paste, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, and liquid smoke in a small saucepan over low heat for 5 minutes to thicken into a glaze.
Carefully open the foil and brush the glaze generously over the ribs. Increase the oven temperature to a broil and cook the ribs uncovered for 3-5 minutes until the glaze is bubbly and slightly charred.
While the ribs finish, steam the green beans for 4-5 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
Serve the glazed ribs alongside the steamed green beans.
