PREPARATION
Slice the seitan into thin, bite-sized strips.
In a small bowl, whisk together the tamari, liquid smoke, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and water to create the smoky glaze.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the seitan strips to the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes until the edges are golden and crispy.
Stir in the cooked lentils and pour the smoky glaze over the mixture, stirring constantly until the liquid is absorbed and the ingredients are well-coated.
