In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, whisked egg, almond flour, finely diced onion, minced garlic, sea salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
Gently mix the ingredients by hand until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Shape the mixture into a compact rectangular loaf on the prepared baking sheet.
Drape the bacon slices over the top of the loaf, tucking the ends underneath to secure them.
Brush half of the BBQ sauce evenly over the top of the bacon.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Brush the remaining BBQ sauce over the loaf and broil for 2 minutes until the bacon is crisp and the glaze is bubbling.
