Pan-seared sirloin steak served with creamy mashed potatoes and green beans sautéed with golden garlic, finished with a pat of grass-fed butter for a rich, velvety finish.
INGREDIENTS
6.5 oz Top Sirloin Steak
2 medium Yukon Gold Potatoes
1.5 cups Green Beans
2 tbsp Grass-fed Butter
1.5 tbsp Olive Oil
1/4 cup Whole Milk
3 cloves Garlic
PREPARATION
Peel and chop potatoes into 1-inch cubes, then boil in salted water for 15-20 minutes until tender.
Drain potatoes and mash with 1 tablespoon of butter and the milk until creamy.
Pat the steak dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the steak for 4-5 minutes per side, then let rest for 5 minutes with a half tablespoon of butter on top.
Sauté the green beans in the remaining oil for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
Stir in minced garlic for the last 2 minutes until fragrant and golden.
Slice the steak and serve with the potatoes and beans.
