Zesty Garlic Shrimp and Broccoli Stir-Fry
Sautéed shrimp and crisp broccoli florets tossed in a vibrant garlic-lemon glaze for a zesty and refreshing finish.
INGREDIENTS
8 oz Raw shrimp
2 cups Broccoli florets
1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
3 cloves Garlic
1 tsp Fresh ginger
2 tbsp Tamari
1 tbsp Lemon juice
0.25 tsp Red pepper flakes
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tbsp Green onion
PREPARATION
Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season evenly with sea salt and black pepper.
Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the broccoli florets and two tablespoons of water to the pan, then cover with a lid to steam for 3 minutes until tender-crisp.
Remove the broccoli from the pan and set it aside on a plate; wipe the pan dry if needed.
Add the toasted sesame oil to the pan, then add the shrimp in a single layer, searing for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
Stir in the minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes, sautéing for 30 seconds until the aromatics are fragrant.
Return the steamed broccoli to the pan and pour in the tamari and fresh lemon juice.
Toss all ingredients together for 1 minute until the sauce coats the shrimp and broccoli, then garnish with sliced green onions.
