Charred Beef Burger with Crispy Sweet Potato Fries
Juicy grass-fed beef patty seared to perfection and served in a crisp lettuce wrap alongside oven-roasted sweet potato fries for a satisfying crunch.
INGREDIENTS
8 oz Ground beef (93% lean)
0.25 medium Sweet potato
0.25 tsp Olive oil
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
0.25 tsp Garlic powder
1 leaf Butter lettuce
1 slice Tomato
1 slice Red onion
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Slice the sweet potato into thin matchsticks, toss with olive oil and half of the sea salt and black pepper.
Spread the sweet potatoes in a single layer on the baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy.
While fries roast, season the ground beef with garlic powder and the remaining salt and pepper, then form into a thick patty.
Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and sear the patty for 4-5 minutes per side until a charred crust forms.
Place the beef patty inside a large butter lettuce leaf and top with the tomato and red onion slices.
Serve the charred burger immediately alongside the hot sweet potato fries.
