Crispy Double Bacon Cheeseburger Delight
Pan-seared grass-fed beef patties topped with smoky nitrate-free bacon and melted sharp cheddar, served on a toasted sprouted bun for a savory, protein-packed crunch.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Grass-fed ground beef (93% lean)
1 slice Nitrate-free bacon
0.5 slice Sharp cheddar cheese
0.5 whole Sprouted grain bun
2 leaf Butter lettuce
2 slice Tomato
1 tbsp Yellow mustard
1 tbsp Sugar-free ketchup
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
0.25 tsp Avocado oil
PREPARATION
Place the bacon slices in a cold skillet and turn the heat to medium, cooking until the fat has rendered and the bacon is perfectly crispy.
Remove the bacon and set aside on a paper towel, leaving a small amount of fat in the pan or wiping it clean and adding the avocado oil.
Divide the ground beef into two 3-ounce portions and shape them into thin, wide patties. Season both sides evenly with sea salt and black pepper.
Increase the skillet heat to medium-high and sear the patties for 2-3 minutes per side until a deep brown crust forms.
During the last minute of cooking, place the cheddar cheese slice over one patty and stack the other patty on top to melt the cheese.
Lightly toast the sprouted grain bun in the same skillet or a toaster until the edges are golden.
Assemble the burger by spreading mustard and sugar-free ketchup on the bottom bun, followed by the lettuce and tomato.
Place the double beef patties on top, crown with the crispy bacon slices, and finish with the top bun.
