Tender Sesame Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry
Sautéed flank steak strips and crisp broccoli florets tossed in a savory ginger-sesame glaze for a vibrant and nourishing meal.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Flank steak
2 cup Broccoli florets
0.25 tbsp Avocado oil
1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
2 tbsp Tamari
1 tsp Honey
1 tsp Fresh ginger
2 clove Garlic
0.25 cup Cooked brown rice
1 tsp Sesame seeds
0.25 tsp Red pepper flakes
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
PREPARATION
Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin, bite-sized strips and season with sea salt and black pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the tamari, honey, toasted sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated fresh ginger.
Heat the avocado oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Add the beef to the skillet in a single layer and sear for 2 minutes until browned, then remove and set aside.
Add the broccoli florets and a splash of water to the same skillet, covering for 2 minutes to steam-sauté until bright green.
Return the beef to the pan, pour in the sesame-ginger sauce, and toss for 1 minute until the sauce thickens and coats everything.
Serve the stir-fry over the warm brown rice and garnish with sesame seeds and red pepper flakes.
