Sautéed flank steak strips and crisp broccoli florets tossed in a savory ginger-garlic sauce for a vibrant, protein-packed meal.
INGREDIENTS
5.5 oz Flank steak
1.5 cup Broccoli florets
0.25 cup Cooked brown rice
1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
1 tbsp Coconut aminos
1 tsp Sesame seeds
1 clove Garlic
0.5 tsp Fresh ginger
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
PREPARATION
Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin, bite-sized strips and season with sea salt and black pepper.
Mince the garlic and grate the fresh ginger until fine.
Heat the toasted sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the beef strips to the hot skillet in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes until browned, then remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and a splash of water, covering for 2 minutes to steam until bright green and crisp-tender.
Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Return the beef to the skillet and pour in the coconut aminos, tossing everything together for 1 minute to glaze.
Serve the beef and broccoli over the warm cooked brown rice and garnish with sesame seeds.
