Crispy Pepperoni Stuffed Crust Pizza
Golden-baked Greek yogurt dough stuffed with melty mozzarella and topped with zesty turkey pepperoni for a protein-packed, crispy finish.
INGREDIENTS
0.5 cup Non-fat Greek yogurt
0.25 cup Self-rising flour
1 whole Part-skim mozzarella cheese stick
0.25 cup Shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
10 slice Turkey pepperoni
2 oz Ground turkey
2 tbsp Marinara sauce
0.25 tsp Garlic powder
0.25 tsp Dried oregano
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small skillet over medium heat, brown the ground turkey until fully cooked and set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and self-rising flour, stirring until a dough ball forms.
Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 1-2 minutes until smooth and no longer sticky.
Roll the dough out into a circle about 8-9 inches in diameter.
Cut the mozzarella cheese stick into thin strips and place them around the outer edge of the dough along with the cooked ground turkey.
Fold the edges of the dough over the cheese and turkey, pressing firmly to seal the stuffed crust.
Spread the marinara sauce over the center of the dough, then sprinkle with garlic powder and dried oregano.
Top with the shredded mozzarella and turkey pepperoni slices.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
