Soft-baked protein cookies made with creamy peanut butter and dark chocolate chips, offering a chewy texture and a boost of clean energy.
INGREDIENTS
1.5 scoop Vanilla whey protein powder
1 tbsp Natural peanut butter
2 large Egg whites
2 tbsp Oat flour
1 tbsp Dark chocolate chips
0.5 tsp Vanilla extract
0.25 tsp Baking powder
0.13 tsp Sea salt
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk the egg whites until they become slightly frothy.
Add the natural peanut butter and vanilla extract to the egg whites, stirring until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
Sift in the protein powder, oat flour, baking powder, and sea salt, then mix until a thick, uniform dough forms.
Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips using a spatula.
Divide the dough into 3 or 4 equal portions and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Flatten each mound slightly with a fork or the back of a spoon to form a cookie shape.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden and set while the centers remain soft.
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for at least 5 minutes to firm up before serving.
