Slow-Cooked Pork Ribs with BBQ Glaze
Tender pork ribs slow-cooked until they fall off the bone, brushed with a tangy, house-made BBQ glaze and served with crisp green beans.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Pork baby back ribs
1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp Coconut aminos
0.5 tsp Garlic powder
0.5 tsp Onion powder
0.25 tsp Smoked paprika
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tbsp Tomato paste
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 cup Green beans
PREPARATION
Season the pork ribs evenly on both sides with sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
Place the seasoned ribs into the slow cooker and pour the apple cider vinegar into the bottom of the pot.
Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours until the meat is fork-tender and beginning to pull away from the bone.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the tomato paste, coconut aminos, and Dijon mustard until smooth to create the BBQ glaze.
Carefully transfer the cooked ribs from the slow cooker to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the glaze generously over the top of the ribs and place under the oven broiler for 3 to 5 minutes until the sauce is caramelized.
Steam the fresh green beans for 5 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp, then serve immediately alongside the glazed ribs.
