Dip the chicken breast into the egg wash, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat thoroughly with the almond flour mixture, pressing firmly to adhere.
Place the breaded chicken on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven, spoon the marinara sauce over the center of the chicken, and top with the shredded mozzarella cheese.
Return to the oven for 5 to 7 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the chicken is fully cooked through.
Garnish with freshly chopped basil before serving.
