PREPARATION
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Pat the salmon fillet dry with a paper towel to ensure a clean sear.
Trim the woody ends off the asparagus spears and place them in a medium mixing bowl.
In a small ramekin, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, smoked paprika, sea salt, and black pepper.
Brush half of the spice and oil mixture evenly over the top and sides of the salmon fillet.
Toss the remaining spice mixture with the asparagus spears until they are well coated.
Place the salmon fillet in the center of the air fryer basket and cook for 5 minutes.
