Honey-Glazed Salmon with Roasted Asparagus
Succulent salmon fillets glazed in a sweet honey-garlic reduction and oven-roasted alongside crisp, charred asparagus spears for a vibrant finish.
INGREDIENTS
7 oz Salmon fillet
0.5 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp Tamari
1 clove Garlic
0.5 tsp Olive oil
1 cup Asparagus
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
0.5 tsp Lemon juice
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure easy cleanup.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, tamari, and minced garlic until the glaze is smooth and fully incorporated.
Snap the woody ends off the asparagus spears and place them on one side of the prepared baking sheet.
Drizzle the asparagus with the olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper, tossing with your hands to coat each spear evenly.
Place the salmon fillet on the other side of the baking sheet and brush the honey-garlic glaze generously over the top and sides of the fish.
Roast for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillet, until the salmon is opaque and the asparagus is tender with lightly charred tips.
Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle the fresh lemon juice over both the salmon and the asparagus before serving warm.
