Pan-Seared Turkey Chops with Roasted Broccoli
Pan-seared turkey chops seasoned with aromatic herbs served alongside crispy roasted broccoli and nutty brown rice.
INGREDIENTS
11 oz Turkey chops
2 cup Broccoli florets
0.75 cup Cooked brown rice
1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
0.5 tsp Dried thyme
0.5 tsp Dried rosemary
0.25 tsp Garlic powder
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
On a large baking sheet, toss the broccoli florets with half of the olive oil and a pinch of the sea salt and black pepper.
Roast the broccoli for 15-20 minutes until the edges are golden and tender.
While the broccoli roasts, season the turkey chops evenly on both sides with dried thyme, dried rosemary, garlic powder, and the remaining salt and pepper.
Heat the remaining olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the turkey chops to the skillet and sear for 4-6 minutes per side until they are cooked through and golden brown.
Serve the herb-crusted turkey chops immediately with the crispy roasted broccoli and warmed brown rice.
