Seared Salmon with Garlic Green Beans and Brown Rice
Pan-seared salmon fillet served with crisp garlic-infused green beans and nutty brown rice, finished with a squeeze of bright lemon.
INGREDIENTS
6 ounces Wild Atlantic Salmon Fillet
0.5 cup Cooked Brown Rice
1.5 cups Fresh Green Beans
1 teaspoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
PREPARATION
Cook the brown rice according to package directions until tender and fluffy.
Season the salmon fillet with a pinch of sea salt and black pepper on both sides.
Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Place the salmon in the pan and sear for four to five minutes until the skin is golden and crisp.
Flip the salmon carefully and cook for another three to four minutes until cooked through then remove from the pan.
In the same skillet add the minced garlic and trimmed green beans with a small splash of water.
Sauté the beans for about five minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
Plate the seared salmon alongside the brown rice and garlic green beans and serve immediately.
