Seared Salmon Fillet with Garlic Green Beans and Brown Rice
Pan-seared salmon fillet served with tender garlic-sautéed green beans and fluffy brown rice, finished with a squeeze of zesty lemon.
INGREDIENTS
7 oz Wild Atlantic Salmon
1/2 cup Cooked Brown Rice
1 cup Fresh Green Beans
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 clove Fresh Garlic, minced
Lemon wedge, salt, and pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon fillet dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add half of the olive oil.
Place the salmon in the pan skin-side up and sear for 4-5 minutes until a golden crust forms.
Flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
Remove the salmon from the pan and set aside to rest.
In the same skillet, add the remaining oil, green beans, and minced garlic with a splash of water.
Sauté the green beans for 5 minutes until tender-crisp and bright green.
Serve the seared salmon alongside the fluffy brown rice and garlic green beans, finishing with a fresh squeeze of lemon juice.
