Spicy Gochujang Pork Belly Stir-Fry
Sautéed lean pork and crispy belly tossed in a pungent gochujang glaze with vibrant broccoli and peppers for a spicy, satisfying crunch.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Pork tenderloin
1 oz Pork belly
1 tbsp Gochujang
1 tbsp Tamari
1 tsp Sesame oil
1 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
1 cup Broccoli florets
0.5 cup Red bell pepper
1 stalk Green onion
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
PREPARATION
Prep the pork by cutting the tenderloin into 1-inch cubes and thinly slicing the pork belly.
In a small bowl, whisk together the gochujang, tamari, grated fresh ginger, and minced garlic to create the stir-fry sauce.
Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add the pork belly slices, cooking until the fat renders and they become golden and crispy.
Add the pork tenderloin cubes to the pan, seasoning with sea salt and black pepper, and sear until browned on all sides.
Toss in the broccoli florets and sliced bell peppers, stir-frying for 3 to 4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Pour the gochujang sauce over the mixture and drizzle with sesame oil, tossing everything together for 1 minute until well-coated and glossy.
Remove from the heat and garnish with thinly sliced green onions before serving immediately.
