Honey-Garlic Chicken Wingettes with Roasted Broccoli
Oven-baked chicken wingettes glazed in a sticky honey-garlic sauce, served alongside nutty brown rice and crisp-tender roasted broccoli.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Chicken wingettes
0.25 cup Cooked brown rice
1.5 cup Broccoli florets
0.5 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp Tamari
2 clove Garlic
1 tsp Olive oil
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Sesame seeds
PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pat chicken wingettes dry with a paper towel and toss with sea salt and black pepper.
Place wingettes on one side of the baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
Toss broccoli florets with olive oil and a pinch of salt, then add to the other side of the baking sheet.
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, tamari, and minced garlic to create the glaze.
Remove the tray from the oven, flip the wings, and brush them generously with half of the honey-garlic sauce.
Return to the oven for another 10-15 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the broccoli is tender.
Toss the cooked wings in the remaining sauce and serve over warm brown rice, garnished with sesame seeds.
