Seared Salmon Filet with Garlic Green Beans and Brown Rice
Pan-seared salmon served with garlic-sautéed green beans and fluffy brown rice, finished with a bright squeeze of lemon and a pinch of flaky sea salt.
INGREDIENTS
6.5 oz Wild Atlantic Salmon Fillet
1/2 cup Cooked Brown Rice
1 cup Fresh Green Beans
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon fillet dry with a paper towel and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Heat half of the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the salmon in the pan skin-side down and sear for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crisp.
Flip the salmon and cook for another 2-3 minutes until desired doneness is reached, then remove from pan and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil, green beans, and a splash of water.
Cover and steam the beans for 3 minutes, then remove the lid and add the minced garlic.
Sauté the beans and garlic for 2 minutes until the beans are tender-crisp and the garlic is fragrant.
Serve the seared salmon alongside the warm brown rice and garlic green beans, drizzling the lemon juice over the fish before serving.
