Paneer and Pea Samosas with Cilantro Chutney
Crispy air-fried whole wheat samosas stuffed with savory paneer and sweet peas, served with a zesty, cooling cilantro-yogurt chutney.
INGREDIENTS
2 oz Paneer
0.5 cup Green peas
0.33 cup Non-fat Greek yogurt
1 cup Fresh cilantro
1 tsp Ginger
1 clove Garlic
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
0.5 tsp Cumin seeds
0.5 tsp Garam masala
0.5 small Whole wheat tortilla
0.25 tsp Olive oil
1 tbsp Lemon juice
PREPARATION
In a small skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and toast the cumin seeds until fragrant.
Add the green peas, crumbled paneer, garam masala, sea salt, and black pepper, sautéing for 3-4 minutes until the peas are tender.
Cut the whole wheat tortilla into four triangles; place a spoonful of the paneer mixture in the center of each and fold into a cone shape, sealing the edges with a drop of water.
Place the samosas in an air fryer at 375°F for 8-10 minutes until the exterior is golden and crunchy.
While the samosas cook, blend the Greek yogurt, cilantro, ginger, garlic, and lemon juice until smooth to create the chutney.
Serve the warm samosas immediately with the chilled cilantro chutney for dipping.
