PREPARATION
Prepare the sushi rice by folding in the rice vinegar and sea salt while it is still warm, then let it cool completely to room temperature.
Slice the sushi-grade salmon and cucumber into long, thin matchsticks, and slice the avocado into thin wedges.
Place a nori sheet on a bamboo rolling mat and spread the cooled rice evenly over the bottom two-thirds of the sheet with damp fingers.
Layer the salmon, cucumber, and avocado strips horizontally across the center of the rice-covered section.
Lift the edge of the mat and roll tightly away from you, applying gentle pressure to ensure the roll is firm and the nori seals at the end.
