PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Finely chop the pecans and mix them in a small bowl with the maple syrup and Dijon mustard.
Season the salmon fillet with half of the sea salt and black pepper, then press the pecan mixture firmly onto the top of the fish.
Toss the asparagus with olive oil and the remaining sea salt and black pepper, then place on the baking sheet next to the salmon.
