Dip the chicken breast into the egg wash, allowing any excess to drip off, then press firmly into the almond flour mixture to coat both sides.
Place the breaded chicken on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15 to 18 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Remove from the oven, spoon the marinara sauce over the center of the chicken, and sprinkle with the shredded mozzarella.
Return to the oven for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
Garnish with thinly sliced fresh basil and serve immediately.
