Spicy Gochujang Pork Belly Skewers
Grilled pork skewers marinated in a fiery gochujang glaze, charred to perfection alongside crisp zucchini and red onion for a smoky, umami-rich experience.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Pork tenderloin
1.5 oz Pork belly
1 tbsp Gochujang
1 tbsp Tamari
1 tsp Sesame oil
1 tsp Rice vinegar
0.5 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
0.5 cup Zucchini
0.25 cup Red onion
1 tsp Sesame seeds
1 stalk Green onion
PREPARATION
In a medium bowl, whisk together the gochujang, tamari, sesame oil, rice vinegar, grated ginger, and minced garlic until smooth.
Cut the pork tenderloin and pork belly into 1-inch cubes, then toss them in the marinade until thoroughly coated.
Slice the zucchini into thick rounds and the red onion into wedges suitable for skewering.
Thread the marinated pork tenderloin, pork belly, zucchini, and red onion alternately onto wooden or metal skewers.
Preheat a grill pan or outdoor grill to medium-high heat and lightly grease with a touch of oil if needed.
Grill the skewers for 8 to 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and the edges are beautifully charred.
Transfer to a plate and garnish with toasted sesame seeds and thinly sliced green onions before serving.
