Sautéed flank steak and crisp broccoli florets tossed in a savory ginger-sesame glaze for a vibrant and nutrient-dense meal.
INGREDIENTS
4 oz Flank steak
2 cups Broccoli florets
1 tbsp Coconut aminos
0.5 tsp Toasted sesame oil
1 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
0.5 tsp Raw honey
1 tsp Sesame seeds
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 cup Cauliflower rice
0.5 tsp Avocado oil
PREPARATION
Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips and season with sea salt and black pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, toasted sesame oil, grated ginger, minced garlic, and raw honey.
Heat the avocado oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Add the beef strips to the skillet in a single layer and sear for 2 minutes until browned, then remove and set aside.
Add the broccoli florets and a splash of water to the same skillet, covering for 2 minutes to steam-fry until bright green and tender-crisp.
Return the beef to the skillet, pour in the sauce, and toss everything together for 1 minute until the glaze thickens slightly.
Serve the stir-fry over a bed of warm cauliflower rice and garnish with sesame seeds.
