Pan-Seared Steak with Garlic Herb Vegetables
Pan-seared grass-fed steak basted in aromatic garlic ghee, served alongside a vibrant medley of crisp-tender herb-roasted vegetables.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Grass-fed top sirloin steak
1 tbsp Ghee
1 cup Broccoli florets
0.5 cup Red bell pepper
0.5 cup Yellow onion
1 clove Garlic
0.5 tsp Dried oregano
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Fresh parsley
PREPARATION
Pat the steak dry with paper towels and season both sides with the sea salt and black pepper.
Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and melt half of the ghee.
Sear the steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, then remove from the pan to rest for 5 minutes.
In the same skillet, add the remaining ghee along with the broccoli, sliced bell peppers, and onion.
Sauté the vegetables for 5-6 minutes until tender-crisp and slightly charred on the edges.
Stir in the minced garlic and dried oregano, cooking for another 60 seconds until fragrant.
Slice the steak against the grain and serve alongside the vegetables, garnished with fresh parsley.
