Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

While potatoes cook, whisk together the flour, beer, garlic powder, paprika, and the remaining salt and pepper in a shallow dish until a smooth batter forms.
Pat the cod fillet completely dry with paper towels, then dip it into the beer batter to coat all sides thoroughly.
Move the potatoes to one side of the air fryer basket and place the battered fish on the other side.
Air fry everything together for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Serve the fish and chips immediately with a fresh lemon wedge for squeezing.
